Share Email Opening Title Program Manager - Providence House  Category Psychosocial Recovery Program   Description The Program Manager of Providence House in Tazewell County, VA will assist in the development and operation of the Psychosocial Rehabilitation program for long term mentally ill adults.  Will ensure that the program maintains full compliance with all regulations.  Will interview, orient, train and supervise staff of the program.  Establishes daily, weekly, and monthly schedules for program activities and ensures necessary documentation of services.  Coordinates services and plans with case managers and other agency providers.  Coordinates transportation of program participants.  Oversees purchasing and inventory of program supplies and food.  Ensures compliance with health department and other food regulatory agencies.    Position Requirements Incumbent must meet QMHP regulations (Bachelors degree in human services and at least one year of direct clinical experience).  Experience working with long term mentally ill individuals is preferred.  Excellent leadership skills necessary.  Good written and oral communication skills required.  Knowledge of basic supervision/management principles required.  Current valid driver's license and good driving record also required.    Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Shift Days   Tags   Travel Requirements   Position Program Manager - OUR House   Close Date   Number of Openings 1   Req Number PSY-23-00001   Open Date 1/20/2023   Location Providence House   About the Organization CMCSB was formed in 1972 as a Chapter 10 Community Services Board under Virginia law. CMCSB provides mental health, intellectual disabilities and substance abuse treatment services to the residents of Buchanan, Russell, and Tazewell Counties. At the present time, CMCSB operates over twenty locations, to include outpatient offices, mental health recovery programs, group homes and day support programs for intellectually disabled individuals, and a residential alcohol and drug treatment program. In addition, CMCSB has several services that are provided directly in an individual's home or in a supported environment. CMCSB also provides a 24-hour crisis team to assist community agencies and individuals in crisis situations. CMCSB employs approximately 500 employees, which include full-time and part-time employees, as well as individuals receiving services who are employed to work in various day programs.
