Description

VSolvit has an opening for a Records Management Specialist to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Corona
Division customer in Norco, California. This individual will support the variety of NSWC Corona’s Corporate business
operations organizations (Corporate Business Office, Security Office, and Corporate Operations Department) and their
administrative requirements to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be able to
communicate effectively with end users as well as with the team.

This position works onsite at Norco Naval Base.

Responsibilities:

  •  Provide records management and forms management support to include inventory, destruction, file placement, training,
  • and overall program administration and maintenance
  • Monitor document status through predetermined routing and approval process
  • Create new forms and make revisions when needed
  • Coordinate and report document metrics
  • Liaison and technical support during business process meetings, teleconferences, and events

Position Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

4+ years’ in an administrative support role such as document control, data entry, records management,data management or inventory control

4 + years’ Microsoft Office suite including (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

4 + years Microsoft Outlook experience

High School Diploma

 

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with the DoD Entities such as US Navy, US Army, US Marines, US Air Force or other
  • Experience with Defense Travel System (DTS) Navy Systems
  • Bachelor’s degree

 

Additional

U.S. Citizen Required

Active Secret Clearance required
