As the Manager, Performance Marketing you will have an opportunity to connect the Pittsburgh Pirates brand to our customers. The Manager, Performance Marketing is responsible for the day-to-day execution and optimizing of paid media campaigns across programmatic display, social, SEM, and other biddable media platforms to drive revenue.

Responsibilities

Primary:

  1. Execute integrated marketing campaigns that drive revenue, build brand awareness and user database.
  2. Partner with internal departments to gather creative assets and ensure proper online messaging, relevance, and consistency of messaging across multiple networks and online channels.
  3. Work with MLB (team’s digital agency) on the day-to-day execution of club’s paid media integrated campaigns across multiple channels (SEM, Programmatic Display, Paid Social, Video, Audio, OTT).
  4. Ensure campaign successes by testing new creative and shifting budgets between channels when necessary.
  5. Monitor active campaigns and recommend real time adjustments to ensure content and message optimization across channels.
  6. In partnership with Business Intelligence team, develop reporting mechanisms to measure and track campaign performance and results.
  7. Work with Marketing Analyst to determine and implement A/B tests that yield continuous improvements to our fan strategies and lift conversion rates.
  8. Leverage data (content performance data, audience insights, and competitive analysis) to set campaign goals, test, measure success, and continually optimize our campaign mix and strategy toward better outcomes to achieve KPIs.
  9. Monitor competitive landscape and industry trends.

Position Requirements

Required:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business.
  2. 2-3 years of experience in building and optimizing paid digital media campaigns
  3. Foundational knowledge of SEM, Programmatic Display, Video, or Paid Social and optimization tactics

Desired:

  1. Experience in driving revenue in ticket-related business
