The Salary Range: $18.00 - $20.40 an hour based on education, experience, and credentials.
What You Will be Doing
We want people to join our team who share our values of love, excellence, respect, empowerment, and well-being. The ideal candidate will be supporting the HR Department in a variety of administrative duties and tasks. The Assistant will serve Boundless in onboarding to ensure an efficient and user-friendly process from offer to start for all new employees. The HR Assistant will track and complete all aspects of the new hire onboarding process and compliance, and annual compliance processes as required by specific programs.
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Collects and processes all Recommendation to Hire paperwork from managers, administrators, and directors.
- Process all new Boundless associates including:
- Collecting all necessary paperwork including: tax forms, job descriptions, references, benefits, etc.
- Ensure completion of compliance requirements including: background checks, scheduling drug tests, physicals, etc.
- Follows up when necessary regarding incomplete forms and tracks until the return of an accurately completed documents.
- Maintain accurate and updated new employee packets, ensuring compliance with all federal and state requirements.
- Ensure compliance of all required new hire employee files.
- Uploads all new hire employee documents to employee files.
- Scans employee document into electronic filing system.
- Using HRIS, Advisor, and other tracking software programs, to update and maintain accurate certification compliance for all new employees.
- Ensure all DODD requirements and Boundless policies are followed.
- All other duties as assigned to assist with any aspect of the Boundless organization and the HR functions to support.
Minimum Education/Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to communicate in English, including both spoken and in writing.
- One year experience in HR, Finance or related field.
Preferred Education/Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- One year experience working with intellectually or developmentally disabled individuals.
- HRIS experience.
Special Skills and Requirements
- Must be detail-oriented and have competent literacy and writing, documentation, communications, and interpersonal abilities.
- Must be able to utilize strategic thinking skills to interpret documents.
- Must be able to communicate well in a respectful manner with all employees, families, and fellow staff members.
- Must have strong organizational and computer skills (MS Office suite) and the ability to learn new programs expeditiously.
