We are currently seeking individuals excited to explore the endless opportunities within our Edgewood Family.   Description Position Summary: The Grounds Maintenance Worker is a full-time year-round position that focuses on golf course maintenance from March-November and winter maintenance from December-February. The Grounds Maintenance Worker during the golf maintenance season is generally responsible for the daily maintenance of golf course grounds: mowing, trimming, bunker maintenance, construction projects, and all other aspects of course maintenance. During the winter maintenance season, a Grounds Maintenance Worker will be responsible for snow removal for the entire property (i.e., sidewalks, roads, parking lots, ice rink). Additional responsibilities include the ability to assist in tree removal projects, and other winter projects around the property in a safe and organized manner. Reimagine luxury hospitality with us. Essential Functions: Daily course set up, mowing greens, tees, fairways and bunker raking. Rough mowing, trimming, weeding, fly mow, basic golf course clean up. Maintain clubhouse grounds, landscaping, perimeter fence landscaping. Work on construction projects on golf course and grounds. Snow removal of parking lots, roads, ice rink, and sidewalks. Have a general understanding of the ice rinks’ chiller operation. Assist in the tree removal process. Follow proper propane fill up station regulations and safety protocols. Daily preparation and inspection of nature walk/snow shoe trail. Other duties as assigned. Responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice.   Position Requirements Qualifications / Special Skills: Knowledge of golf course maintenance operations, and/or landscape trades. Available to work varied shifts when needed, including weekends, holidays, and nights. Operate snow blower equipment on sidewalks and around the ice rink in a safe manner. Must be able to take direction from management and communicate clearly with fellow team members. Operate the Zamboni for the ice rink when needed. Operate various types of snow removal equipment (i.e., loaders, bobcats, plow trucks, and other various types of street sanding equipment) safely. Operate a chainsaw safely.
