Description

Full-time position available in Brooklyn. The Program Administrator oversees the work activities of the four case planning supervisors and is responsible for the planning, development, implementation, and administration of this intensive, home-based counseling service ensuring professionalism, high-quality clinical services, and compliance with agency policies and contractual commitments.

Essential Functions:

Leadership

  • Lead the implementation and integration of the Solution Based Casework (SBC) model, which includes assessment, family and individual level outcomes, action plans and documentation and celebration

  • Ensure all ACS contract obligations are met in conjunction with the agency’s Mission and Philosophy

  • Participate in the recruitment of new program staff to ensure high-quality performance in all areas including counseling, supervision, documentation, and case management

  • Coordinate regular staff meetings to offer professional development, provide agency-related information and updates, and support positive staff morale

  • Handle case-related crises with professionalism, urgency and care, including incidents involving reports to the State Central Registry

  • Other duties as required.

 

Program Implementation & Development

  • Implement all relevant agency and funder-required policies and procedures.

  • Ensure that the physical site is maintained in accordance with agency standards, including the coordination of program space and support staff coverage.

  • Provide ongoing community outreach to ensure community awareness of the program and strengthen linkages with community resources.

  • Provide backup and accompany staff during home visits and case conferences as needed.

  • Participate in Clinical Diagnostic Team (CDT) meetings and ensure that clinical decisions meet best case practice standards as well as contractual requirements.

 

Compliance, Documentation and Data Management

  • Prepare monthly statistical information in a timely manner reporting program activities and outcomes.

  • Maintain supervisory documentation.

  • Ensure appropriate utilization of agency, state and city databases by all program staff.

Salary Range: $76,000-92,000, depending upon licensure and language offerings.

 
Position Requirements
  • Masters in (Social Work, Mental Health, Psychology, etc.) required; LMSW, LCSW, LMHC preferred.

  • Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in a child welfare setting preferred

  • Bilingual - English/Spanish preferred

  • Must have strong organizational, administrative, interpersonal, and clinical skills

  • Must have strong inquiry skills and ability to seek and share internal and external best practices in order to achieve program excellence

  • Must have a commitment to work from a strength based, trauma-informed & youth and family development perspective
