Job Purpose:
The Director of Digital Marketing, in partnership with Vice President, Communications and Marketing and Vice President, Partnerships and Development, will create and implement multi-channel marketing strategy to drive CORE’s strategic goals with an emphasis on raising mission awareness, creating brand loyalty and ultimately driving new donor/ambassador/volunteer/partner acquisitions and fundraising. This position will work to support organizational strategic goals with an emphasis on Communications, Development, Partnerships, Events and VIP/Celebrity Ambassadors. The ideal candidate has experience developing and executing digital marketing campaigns while managing and inspiring a team. They will be comfortable with day-to-day marketing activities as well as long-term strategy, thriving under tight deadlines and rapidly changing needs.

Main Responsibilities:
- This position will not only design marketing strategy but also execute day-to-day plans in collaboration with Communications and Development teammates.
- Oversee growth of website and social media program and leverage each channel to grow brand awareness and loyalty through authentic storytelling; drive conversions including donations, eCommerce site sales, volunteer registrations and celebrity engagement.
- Mentor and coach Digital Media Coordinator and collaborate with him and Comms team to write and design compelling content for social media, email and website – includes posts, reels, videos, fundraising asks, digital ads, infographics and photo slideshows.
- Develop email marketing calendar and segmentation strategy for donors, ambassadors and partners and work in coordination with Development team to implement; collaborate with Communications team to develop authentic content to drive action.
- Manage integration with and optimize performance of online landing and donation pages including “Classy” functionality.
- Provide recommendations to optimize website user experience and retail sales via eCommerce site to drive conversions including overseeing SEO/SEM and Adwords campaigns.
- Develop and implement peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns via social channels; implement ads and collect content and vignettes for online cause marketing campaigns; and optimize opportunities with partners running charity streams, online auctions, awareness campaigns and digital fundraisers.
- Oversee digital ad spend and marketing campaigns around key annual events including World Refugee Day, Earth Day, Giving Tuesday, Holiday/End-of-Year and humanitarian emergency anniversaries.
- Enable the organization to adapt plans rapidly to address breaking humanitarian emergencies, developing effective digital marketing campaigns to support fundraising around disaster response efforts.
- Set clear KPI metrics for success, measure analytics, and provide reporting and recommendations to finetune strategy.
- Provide recommendations for growth of team to achieve strategic goals and potentially oversee additional teammates as organization grows.

Qualifications:
- 10+ years Digital Marketing experience and bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in marketing, business, or related field
- Must be proficient in social media implementation and strategy, website optimization, Google and social analytics, SEO/SEM and Adwords, audience segmentation, digital fundraising campaigns and email marketing.
- Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills in an extremely fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
- Metrics-driven marketing mind with eye for creativity
- Strong interest or experience in humanitarian sector, international development, public service, or public health.
- Experience with Salesforce, Hubspot, Classy, charity streams and peer-to-peer digital marketing campaigns.
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and meet deadlines.
- Experience managing staff (this position will manage 1-2 staff)
