Share Email Opening Title Batching Compounder (5am-5pm)  Position Batching Compounder   Location Raining Rose, Inc.   Description SUMMARY This position is responsible for combining, blending and processing the appropriate raw materials in accordance to the specifications of a batch ticket. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to the following) Maintain safety, quality, production, and sanitation standards at all times Ensure proper weight and measured ingredients for batching process prior to compounding Set equipment parameters for operation Perform quality checks as required Observe production or monitor equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation Complete and maintain department paperwork Examine materials, ingredients, or products visually or with hands to ensure conformance to established standards Add or mix raw materials for processing, using hand tools or other equipment Transfer materials, supplies, or products between work areas, using moving equipment or hand tools Read and understand batch tickets to determine production specifications or information Clean equipment to sanitation standards Recommend process improvements for increased efficiencies Firm understanding and compliance with company’s Good Manufacturing Practices and Safe Practices Display and promote company values (ASPIRE: Attitude, Safety, Passion, Integrity, Relationship, and Evolve) Regular attendance Other duties as assigned     Position Requirements REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES Strong written and verbal communication skills with prevalent professional demeanor High ethical standards Ability to work in a fast paced, rapidly changing, and regulated environment Strong attention to detail Ability to identify problems when they arise and notify appropriate personnel Team player Entry level computer literacy Mathematical aptitude Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Products and ability to learn new systems quickly Strong understanding of weights and measures   EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE High school diploma/GED required A minimum of 1+ years’ of experience in a relatable field preferred Batching or food preparation experience preferred Experience with ERP software preferred Experience using a forklift preferred Experience with a wide variety of measuring instruments and complicated product development preferred Knowledge of GMP’s, OSHA rules and regulations preferred Knowledge of material inspection methods and techniques preferred Raining Rose is an EEO employer with an excellent benefits package and is a tobacco free workplace.
