Share Email Opening Title Ultrasonographer  Description Job Overview: The ultrasonographer performs a variety of scans including abdominal and vascular ultrasounds under the direction of the radiologist, cardiologist, and/or surgeon. Completes all examinations in a timely, professional, efficient, and safe manner. Provides excellent customer service to all patients. ARDMS registered required with Breast Ultrasound experience preferred.        Responsibilities: Perform ultrasound exams under the direction of the radiologist/cardiologist/surgeon. Perform exams as scheduled or otherwise. Report immediately any equipment problems or deficiencies to the Imaging manager. Monitor patient during exam. Review results for accuracy. Operate PACS systems accurately. Properly maintain care of equipment and department. Ensure daily that the ultrasound room is adequately stocked and clean. Maintain adequate supplies. Follow established OSHA and HIPAA policies. Participate in continuing education opportunities and maintain all credentials.     12.  Perform other duties in the Imaging Department as may be assigned.    Position Requirements Minimum Qualifications: Must be a graduate of an accredited program of radiologic technology and/or ultrasound. RDMS registered in one modality. Minimum of one year ultrasound experience. Ability to work independently and efficiently. Ability to work well with other technologists, the public, and other members of the clinic. Professional attitude and appearance.
