The Unit Secretary/Transportation Scheduler works Monday – Friday from 8:00 – 4:30. Holidays and weekends are not typically required, but scheduling flexibility is sometimes necessary to meet the needs of our residents.   Common Responsibilities: Perform administrative reception duties such as greeting visitors and residents, data entry, and time and attendance Answering multi-line telephones Taking/delivering messages Files and maintains correspondence, reports and other documents Coordinating medical appointments and transportation Gathering Health information for resident insurance updates and submitting information timely to appropriate insurance departments Coordinating admission calls between the hospital and the admitting household Assist with Nursing department attendance tracking, and missed punches.
