Will be relied upon to help troubleshoot equipment issues on the manufacturing floor. Will establish and maintain most current versions of programming software and equipment programs.         RESPONSIBILITIES AND JOB ACTIVITIES Establish and maintain primary equipment log for all hardware and software including PLC processors, HMIs, and robotics. Secure onsite software backups for all equipment Support manufacturing by streamlining existing PLC logic. Improve existing processes and equipment to improve yields, increase throughput, improve product quality Execute a periodic assessment of equipment, hardware, and software Report on general state/vintage of controls systems Review assessment of each system with manager Identify systems for recommended upgrade based on obsolescence. Support manufacturing and maintenance to help solve production issues and problems which arise on the plant floor Draw electrical schematics and perform programming for in-house designed equipment.
