This position will provide services to general neurology patients with a special focus on headache and sleep disorders. Responsibilities will be to perform physical exam (new and rechecks), coordinate patient care, manage prescriptions and provide patient/family education. There is also an opportunity to participate in clinical research studies. This position may be 4 or 5 days per week depending upon candidate preference.   Position Requirements Master’s degree from Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program with certification and current license required. Experience with sleep or pulmonary medicine highly desired; or general neurology, cardiology or internal medicine experience. Must possess excellent clinical skills and be able to function with a high level of autonomy. Must be self-motivated and detail-oriented; and possess excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with electronic health record required, Epic preferred. The Minneapolis Clinic of Neurology has a solid representation of Advanced Practice Providers throughout its five locations. APPs provide an important and valuable service to our patients, with some practicing general neurology and others aligned with specific subspecialties, depending upon the practice of the supervising physician.
