RESPONSIBILITIES: Thoroughly cleans each resident room once a week, as scheduled. Cleaning techniques and quality standards will be as instructed by Maintenance Director and company policy. Cleans each resident’s bathroom daily, empties resident’s trash daily. Washes each resident’s personal laundry as scheduled. Cleans common areas of facility on a routine or as-needed basis, as instructed and requested by supervisor. Is observant and aware of any situation or occurrence in the facility that may pose a safety hazard to residents or staff. Reports such observation immediately to supervisor. Performs job duties in accordance with safety rules. Attends all meetings and in services as requested by Executive Director or supervisor. Is available to work at times. Days, or positions other than those scheduled as requested by Executive Director or supervisor. Performs other duties as may be requested from time to time.   Position Requirements QUALIFICATIONS: A candidate for housekeeper must possess exemplary work ethics and the ability to assist and interact with seniors in a caring, kind, and respectful manner. A Housekeeper must be able to speak and read English to the degree that allows for understanding simple written notes, verbal instructions and to understand and be understand by a typical resident. Must be able to push, pull, lift, carry 50 pounds.
