Job Summary

This Graphic Design Internship position is a seasonal position (Mar-Oct) working in a team approach with the Sr. Designer, Designers, and the Art Director on a variety of projects and assignments. Assignments primarily come from the Art Director, and the Creative Project Manager. The ideal candidate is a proactive individual, with well-developed critical thinking skills who can process, react to, and solve problems in a timely manner as they arise.

When not creating a beautiful design, you are excited to actively work with the design team to help with branding and conceptual thinking for other platforms and mediums.

Responsibilities

Primary

  1. Clearly communicate and present ideas through visuals to both internal and external stakeholders.
  2. Understand the Pirates brand, voice, and audience to produce visuals that inspire our brand story while also building authentic relationships.
  3. Work with other creative team members to produce cohesive content and designs for all platforms and mediums.
  4. Collaborate with other creative team members and attend project and team meetings.
  5. Collaborate with other departments within the organization.
  6. Accept real and constructive feedback when necessary.
  7. All other duties assigned by Art Director.
 
Position Requirements

Required:

  1. Authorized to work lawfully in the United States.
  2. Must be in a Degree-Seeking Program at Junior, Senior or Graduate level, majoring in Graphic Design, or a related field.
  3. Knowledge of the graphic production process.
  4. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.

Desired:

  1. Ability to work some gamedays throughout the season.
