Under the direction of the Patient Accounts Manager, this position will be responsible for the daily technical operations of the Patient Accounts Department and GLPP Billing Department. Responsibilities include the administration, set up, coordination and education of the Patient Accounting information systems (mainly Allscripts Sunrise Financial Manager and Quadax) including the development of processes in conjunction with the Patient Accounts Manager and GLPP Billing Coordinator to fully utilize available systems to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Responsible for assisting with install of new software releases, system upgrades, maintaining all system environments (test, live, etc.), evaluating and installing patches and resolving software related problems. Maintains data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity. Training responsibilities include new user, as well as education of current users of the system(s). Supports the accuracy of the EHR by troubleshooting and analyzing reported issues This position will assist the Patient Accounts Manager with basic administrative duties of the department including daily, weekly and monthly reporting, providing input for staff evaluations, and general supervision and backup.

Education: At least Associates Degree in Business or related field. Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
Experience: Previous experience working in a hospital Revenue Cycle preferably five or more years.
Skills: Demonstrates leadership ability. Displays excellent analytical, problem solving skills and critical thinking skills. Advance computer skills including ability to work in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook programs are required. Requires the ability to multi-task. Project Management and effective communication skills required.
