Share Email Opening Apply Now Title Recreation Therapist (Geriatric Psychiatric Center), FT, 1st  Location Joint Township District Memorial Hospital   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Working Shift 8am-4:30pm   Hours Per Week 40   Description The Recreation Therapist (RT) plans and conducts scheduled recreation therapy group sessions/ programs, and individual sessions as needed. The RT will participate in co-treatment activities with other disciplines as identified. The RT is responsible for completing assessment data, care planning and routine documentation related to leisure functioning. RTs participate as an integral part of the interdisciplinary treatment team on all matters concerning the patient. To complete structured activities designed to help patients develop or maintain functional living skills including physical, social and creative skills through participation in activities of daily living, vocational, recreational, social, expressive or other activities designed to promote patient recovery, resiliency and independence in both hospital and community setting   Position Requirements Must meet one of the educational requirements    Licensed Occupational Therapist  Licensed Occupational therapy assistant  Recreation therapist- Registered by the Ohio recreational therapy registration board or certified by the national council for therapeutic recreation certification; or is licensed, certified, or registered by another state or national body to practice recreational therapy.    AscUDF_AdditionalJob_HoursperWeek None Specified  supervisorUID None Specified  This position is currently accepting applications.
