SUMMARY
Manage, supervises, coordinates, and assists in the activities of workers engaged in setting up, installing, repairing, and maintaining machinery and equipment by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Follow all ISO 9001/IATF16949 Procedures and Work Instructions relevant to your work area.
Champion safe practices to ensure the safety of our team and equipment.
Organize and assign maintenance work to maintenance mechanics and electricians.
Directs and assists crew in electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment.
Good communication skills to promote inclusion, ownership and training. Assists workers in diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment.

Time management, sense of urgency and ability to multitask
Ability to work with contactors and outside vendors for problem solving activities
Diagnose, organize, maintain and order replacement parts for critical equipment repairs and preventative maintenance.
Project management to include planned and emergency 24/7 maintenance repair tasks, equipment rebuilds and coordinate with contractors and outside vendors to support equipment uptime and efficient equipment repairs.

Must be able to perform the Equipment Status Report.
Maintain work requests in ERP system (PLEX). Create, modify, close, and maintain the flow of work requests. Sort and prioritize work requests and give to maintenance personnel to complete the jobs on time. Maintain equipment records within PLEX and keep up to date. Assist in the development of predictive and preventative maintenance procedures along with the timely organization and completion of them.
Directs workers engaged in dismantling, assembling, moving, and installing repaired equipment or property.
Maintain all plant equipment, including oiling and greasing. Clean, scrape, and paint plant equipment property. Make general building repairs.
Confers with other supervisors to coordinate maintenance needs of individual departments.
Suggests changes in work habits and use of equipment to increase efficiency of the shop and work crew.
Notify the Plant Manager on the maintenance needs of plant equipment and property. Responsible for determining the need for supplies and parts necessary for completing maintenance of plant equipment and property and with cost considerations, completes requisitions for their purchase and submit to the Plant Manager for approval. Assure management that all materials used in the manufacturing process are not wasted in any way.
Responsible for maintaining the Preventative Maintenance Program.
Monitor maintenance personnel and insure that they are working efficiently and to their utmost ability by performing periodic performance evaluations under the direction of the Human Resources Manager. Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems.
Enforce company policies, the Employee Handbook, and safety regulations. Notify management immediately of serious violations or accidents occurring among your crew members.
Monitor the attendance and lateness of maintenance personnel, and when necessary issue disciplinary service record memos under the direction of the Human Resources Manager.
Perform any other duties as may be assigned by company management.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly supervises all maintenance mechanics and electricians in the Maintenance Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
