Looking for a full-time IT Technical Support Analyst (Monday - Friday, 1 pm - 9 pm).


Job Description:

The IT Technical Support Analyst is responsible for assisting the AVP of IT, Senior Network Administrator & Assistant System Administrator in maintaining the Agency’s technology infrastructure, including LAN, intranet & web applications.  IT Support Analyst will monitor, manage, and troubleshoot all problems submitted to the help desk for resolution and should be capable of seeing a problem through from beginning to end until resolved.

 

What You Will Do:

  • Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (printers, scanners etc).
  • Troubleshoot & resolve computer, software, and peripheral device problems reported by users, including performing timely workstation hardware/software repairs & upgrades as required
  • Install and configure appropriate software according to specifications.
  • Maintain local network inventory.
  • Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems.
  • Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment.
  • Assist with organizing and scheduling upgrades & maintenance without deterring others from completing their work, including security updates, antivirus, and other necessary tools.
  • Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging etc.) .
  • Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place orders.
  • Provide and maintain network access to users, including onboarding & off boarding.
  • Supports Security Team Committee by the following, but not limited to, routinely providing staff education and communications around the Agency’s Security Standards.
  • Maintains network & system security, ensuring the latest security patches are installed
  • Assists staff with technical support requests


What We Need to See:

  • B.A. or B.S. Degree from an accredited college or university in Computers, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology.
  • Valid driver's license required and must be insurable by agency's automobile insurance.
