Share Email Opening Title Prevention Initiative - Program Director  Position Prevention Initiative - Program Director   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Base Wage $47,850 - $55,000/year based on education and experience   Description SAL Community Services (SAL), home to Skip-a-Long Childhood Centers, is the Quad Cities area’s leading provider of early childhood care and education and now includes the Prevention Initiative (PI) program. We provide a safe, secure and supportive environment centered on how playing can charge the mind of the children we care for. SAL is seeking a PI Program Director to provide leadership, oversight and management of the PI program. This means you’ll do things like: Implement the program and provide oversight of day-to-day functions and ongoing performance. Administer program policies and develop and facilitate training for program personnel. Oversee the ongoing monitoring in Skip-a-Long classrooms and contracted Home Child Care Network providers and partners to ensure compliance with applicable grant, federal, state, and local regulations. Develop and maintain successful relationships with community partners and work collaboratively as part of the SAL Leadership team. Work with the Chief Financial Officer, grant accountant, and other fiscal staff to ensure funding supports all program goals, objectives and all contract requirements. Travel will be required to fulfill any and all assigned responsibilities, to maintain required competencies of the position and facilitation of the prevention program. Develop family-centered service plans, goals, and objective for children and families based on curriculum. Complete and provide ongoing evaluation and assessment on the program goals, objectives, components, and outcomes; individually with teaching staff; curriculum, etc. Be the liaison with the Illinois State Board of Education for all programmatic needs. Create training and professional development plans and opportunities for team to ensure professional growth in the ECE field. Qualifications: Must obtain background clearances, be fully-vaccinated with the COVID-19 vaccine, be able to complete physical tasks such as sit, stand, lift 10 pounds, have at least three years of experience, and have a Bachelor's Degree in ECE, Administration, or related field.
