Sales and Marketing Representative 


Description Job Summary:

The Sales and Marketing Representative is responsible for developing and maintaining referral sources, securing referrals and sales leads, and creating a positive identity for the company.
This is accomplished through face to face interaction, promotional materials and community involvement.

Essential Functions:
Build referrals and sales leads within framework of strategy and territory.

Pre-plan weekly sales activities.

Maintain written documentation relating to all sales activity.

Coordinate sales activity with office staff to assure appropriate follow-up on referrals.

Maximize efficiency and cost effectiveness in daily activities.Participate in developing periodic sales goals.

Provide constructive feedback on strategy and approach to management.

Be totally knowledgeable in the agency service lines, service fees and client base.

Create and develop promotional material as needed.

Maintain confidentiality on strategy and protect all company records and property.

Represent agency at community functions and professional organizations.

Promote the agency services in the community.

Additional (non-essential) Functions:
Provide ideas and data which outline new service opportunities and sales potential.

Participate in educational opportunities in health care.Other duties as assigned.  

Position Requirements Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Availability:
The Sales and Marketing Representative of the company shall be an individual who has at least one (1) year of experience in face to face sales and marketing in health care with preference given to home health care, in-home non medical care, or the temporary staffing industry.

Must be creative, self-motivated, and have a pleasant and helpful disposition.

Must possess effective written and verbal communication skills, problem solving ability, and apply good judgment based on the principles of sound management.

Read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.

Be competent in Microsoft Word, Power Point, and able to work in Excel and other Customer Management software.

Have a valid driver's license and use of an insured and reliable automobile.

Successful candidate will be able to pass a state and FBI background check and drug test.
