For more information please visit www.astrazeneca.com .   Description Location: Gaithersburg, MD We are currently seeking rising junior or senior level students working towards a degree in science for 10-12 week internship during the summer of 2023.   Objectives/Goals of the Position:  The main objective of this study is to characterize the drug product impact of transport and handling stresses, thus minimizing risks to our commercial products.   Primary Duties: Conduct experiments on drug product formulations to understand physiochemical stability Prepare and characterize biologic drug product formulation using analytical methods (visual appearance, sub-visible particle characterization, and others) Plan and execute experiments to increase understanding of drug product stability after transportation stresses and in-use conditions Ensure compliance to safety rules and regulations and experimental and laboratory best practices Maintain a detailed and organized electronic lab notebook   Position Requirements Excellent team player with strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills Demonstrate a basic understanding of scientific principles Ability to perform routine tasks accurately and efficiently Research laboratory experience, preferred Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0+   Full-Time/Part-Time Seasonal   Location Gaithersburg, MD   This position is currently not accepting applications.
