For more information please visit www.astrazeneca.com .   Description Location: Gaithersburg,MD We are currently seeking rising senior and/or master/PhD level student working towards a degree in biology for a 10-12 week internship during the summer of 2023.   Objectives/Goals of the Position: The goal of this position is to explore innate immune signaling pathways in Lupus and other autoimmune diseases, which are key driver of disease progression. The intern will examine the downstream signaling pathways after innate immune response in reporter cell lines and human PBMCs. This study will be extremely useful in understanding pathophysiology of autoimmune diseases and potentially giving us a clues to identifying the next generation of autoimmune targets.   Primary Duties: The intern will perform experiments under supervision.
