POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for the maintenance and cleanliness of beverages stations and equipment; responsible for replenishment of bar supplies.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Responsible for cleaning of beverage and storage areas.
- Provides and replenishes beverage stock and supplies.
- Removes empty bottles and trash.
- Prepares necessary fruit for use as garnishes.
- Responsible for receiving, issuing and keeping necessary records of liquor stored and supplies.
- Serves a back up for bartenders when necessary.
- Promotes outstanding customer service on a continual basis.
- Participates as a team member with bartenders, servers, supervisors, and all other pertinent employees in ensuring an efficient operation.
- Other duties as assigned by Department Manager and/or General Manager.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Ability to work under pressure with multi-patrons requesting assistance. Ability to work well with diverse personalities. Ability to firmly deny drinks to patrons that may be past their alcohol limitations.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or GED preferred. Minimum of six month’s related experience. Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred. Must be culturally sensitive to minority population especially Native Americans; must be able to successfully pass a post-offer drug screen and criminal history background check. Must possess excellent interpersonal skills. Must have basic mathematical capabilities to count currency and provide accurate change to customers. Must be able to obtain and hold a Food Handlers card within 30 days of employment or present upon hire. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: While performing the duties of this job, the Employee must be able to lift 25 lbs. consistently, required finger dexterity, to use hands to handle or feel objects, reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand and walk. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. |
