We are seeking to hire Senior Marine Engineers (U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) Credentialed) to join our team in either Washington, D.C. or Norfolk, VA. Upon award, the position will:

  • Provide engineering and technical services for accomplishing surveys and inspections, audits and investigations.
  • Perform Marine and Mechanical Engineering to include designing, building, operating, and maintaining the propulsion and auxiliary systems onboard ships.

 

 
Position Requirements

Required Education, Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Marine engineering or other similar degree.
  • Eight (8) years of ship-related design experience post-graduate (after earning a Bachelor's degree).
  • Experience in commercial ship operations with an emphasis on material readiness and maintenance studies, reliability engineering and technical data review.
  • Individual must have held a USCG Merchant Marine Chief Engineer of Steam/Motor/Gas Turbine, Unlimited Horsepower Credential and be able to produce proof of same.
  • U.S. Citizenship is a prerequisite.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

This position is contingent upon and subject to the award of the contract from the government. You will be hired on a contingency basis.
