We are seeking to hire Senior Marine Engineers to join our team in either Washington, D.C. or Norfolk, VA. Upon award, the position will: Provide engineering and technical services for accomplishing surveys and inspections, audits and investigations. Perform Marine and Mechanical Engineering in the area of shipboard control, automation, and instrumentation systems analysis.   Position Requirements Required Education, Skills and Experience:   Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Marine engineering or other similar degree. Fifteen (15) years in the marine industry. Three (3) years of Port Engineer experience overseeing ship new construction, or maintenance and repair. Five (5) years experiencing sailing on U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) Chief Engineer license. Individual must have held a USCG Merchant Marine Chief Engineer of Steam/Motor/Gas Turbine, Unlimited Horsepower Credential and be able to produce proof of same. U.S. Citizenship is a prerequisite. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. This position is contingent upon and subject to the award of the contract from the government.
