Job Description

  • At draftPros, we rely on our IT systems to help our business reach and succeed with clients all over the US. We're seeking an experienced systems administrator who's eager to use and grow his or her technological skills in a dynamic role. In this role, the successful individual will protect our critical information systems, and assets, build solutions, implement & support software, and hardware, and assist in the development of an overall IT strategy. You'll help empower our support to our clients, be given challenging assignments, lead initiatives, and take ownership and responsibility. You'll be empowered to implement systems that will enable you to become a leader in your field. Objectives of this Role

  • Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware
  • Own projects, solutions, and key responsibilities within a larger business initiative
  • Handle business-critical IT tasks and systems that provide commercial advantage in a global marketplace
  • Enable faster and smarter business processes and implement analytics for meaningful insights
  • Nurture dependable IT infrastructure and networking that's always up and running
  • Partner with internal and external partners to communicate project status, activities, and achievements

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

  • Perform server administration tasks, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, RDS 2016, research event log warnings and errors, and resource monitoring, ensuring system architecture components work together seamlessly
  • Monitor datacenter health using preexisting management tools and respond to hardware & OS issues as they arise; help build, test, and maintain new servers as needed
  • Maintain internal infrastructure requirements including, laptop and desktop computers, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, security updates, support internet, intranet, LANs, WANs, and network segments
  • SPOC for AT&T & other partner's systems, setups, and troubleshooting
 
Position Requirements

Qualifications

  • (Must have) Experience & proficiency in Microsoft Server technology, RDS, Hyper-V, VMware, and network concepts with firewall config with Meraki & FortiGate Products.
  • (preferred) Knowledge of AT&T systems, OPEDS, and Aramis are a huge plus
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing a growing environment
  • Experience with or knowledge of Microsoft operating systems; current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup (Veeam) and recovery procedures, system performance-monitoring tools, active directory, virtualization, HTTP traffic, content delivery, and caching
  • Creating volumes, assigning to servers and remote replication
  • hyperconvergence understanding (StorMagic)
  • Configure VLANs, Static Routes, VPN, IPsec Tunnels, DNAT, Virtual IPs, SNAT & IP address translation
