Must be able to constantly stand and exert well-paced mobility for the entire shift
Must be able to bend, kneel, stoop, reach and squat on a frequent basis to receive and store stock, supplies, and equipment as well as to work the line during service periods
Must be able to open kitchen at 8am, turn on equipment, place orders, prep lists, put away orders
Must be able to close kitchen 1 up to 2:30, clean up, last one out of kitchen, everything's off,
May be creating and write schedules, entering swaps,
Must be able to lift, handle, and carry food, small wares, equipment, supplies and paper goods at a minimum of 50 pounds
Adhere to food safety procedures and regulations and get ServSafe trainer Certified.
Must have advanced cooking techniques and the ability to teach them to subordinates
Advanced knife skills and ability to use repetitively
Experience using various kitchen equipment including stoves, ovens, fryers, mixers, blenders
Preferred have experience with chill blasters.
Preparing all food items to recipe specifications and ensuring your team does the same.
Ensuring all food items are correctly stored, dated and monitor and educate your team.
Rotate and check all stock items as per established procedures and monitor and educate your team
Cleaning kitchen appliances and machines and monitor and educate your team on these process
Daily, Weekly and monthly cleaning checklists
Ensuring kitchen staff adhere to set standards, procedures, department rules and sanitation requirements
Helping other team members to unload and store deliveries
Assist other staff members with tasks as needed
Taking out the trash
Responsible for executing with your team the daily and weekly cleaning schedules/lists
Subject to wet floors, temperature extremes, smoke, dust and loud noise
Acting MOD if needed
May be asked to do other tasks as needed
Performs all job-related functions in a cordial friendly manner committed to exceeding guest and team member expectations
