Share Email Opening Apply Now Title Clinical Research Coordinator - Headache and Alzheimer's Research  Category Clinical Research   Location Burnsville   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time and/or Part-Time   Shift Days   Work schedule   Req Number CLI-22-00008   Open Date 2/10/2023   Description We seek a Clinical Research Coordinator to join the research team in our Burnsville location. Under the direction of Principal Investigator in our Burnsville location and working with pharmaceutical study sponsors, this position is responsible to coordinate and perform activities for clinical research trials related to headache and Alzheimer's Disease research.  Performs pre-study duties Recruits patients, schedules and conducts patient appointments as required for research protocols Records patient data and maintains appropriate documentation Monitors study information and communicates per protocol to study sponsors Prepares for and works with audits and inspections from sponsor and/or FDA Closes out clinical trials as studies are ended.   Position Requirements Qualified candidates MUST possess a bachelor's degree in a health-related field (e.g., biology, chemistry, neuroscience, etc.) and MUST have a minimum of 2-3 years direct pharmaceutical research experience working with patients in a clinical setting. Neurology-related experience is helpful but not required. CCRC certification (SoCRA or ACRP) helpful but not required.  Additionally, candidates should possess the following: Knowledge of clinical research compliance standards, e.g. informed consent process, adverse event reporting, the Federal Code of Regulations and Good Clinical Practices (GCP) Standards. Ability to coordinate all aspects of clinical research trials from study start-up to closeout, including regulatory file management, patient identification, recruitment, consent, enrollment, data collection, and data management. Experience with administering EKGs desired. Phlebotomy experience desired but not required. Active problem solving, flexibility, self-motivation and self-learning. Extremely detail oriented and able to conduct oneself professionally in a dynamic environment; able to work effectively in a group or independently with minimal oversight. Proficiency in MS Office required: Word, Excel, Outlook. Knowledge of electronic medical record systems and electronic clinical trials databases.
