We are seeking experienced Marine Electrical Engineers to join our team in Washington, DC or Suburban Baltimore. Upon award, you will: Assist with and design electrical and electronic systems for ships. Conduct design, analysis and studies for power generation and distribution, electric propulsion and power electronics, centralized machinery monitoring and control, lighting systems, and alarm systems. Evaluate effect of new or modified electrical subsystems on overall system performance. Review and adjudicate system design specifications, test requirements, Departures from Specification, Request for Waiver, and Engineering changes. Work with a team of experienced engineers and people with other areas of expertise to plan, design, and oversee ship modifications.
