Location: Frederick, MD

We are currently seeking rising undergraduate sophomore, junior and senior students working towards a degree in engineering, biological sciences, or chemistry for a 10-12 week internship during the summer of 2023.

 

Objectives/Goals of the Position:

The Validation intern role will primarily assist on validation projects supporting A3’s from site scorecard goals for 2022/2023 and compliance maintanance initiatives. The intern will work on individual/team projects related to EM Program Optimization, generating inventory of NC and CNC areas in support of establishing minimum requirements for these, and support Periodic Review and Product Quality Review (PQR) assessments.  

 

Primary Duties:

The primary duty is to Assist Validation Associates/Scientists to verify correct HEPA Filters list are in SAP and confirm the inventory & field location in the various areas on site (within B633). Confirmation that PM certification are routinely occuring and current.  Assist with implementation of improvement/ lean maturity projects (pertaining generating inventory of NC and CNC areas within B633 in support of establishment minimum requirements for these areas).  Assist Validation Associates/Scientists with compliance initiatives associated with compilation of data and finalizing validation packages for PQRs and PRs.

 

 
Position Requirements

  • Rising undergraduate sophomore, junior and senior students working towards a degree in engineering, biological sciences, or chemistry. 
  • Technical writing skills, questioning attitude, Problem solving skills. Minimal understanding of system qualification, PQRs or Periodic Reviews
  • Minimum grade point average of 3.0
