Share Email Opening Title Warehouse Clerk  Category Warehouse Operations   Description Position Overview Responsible for the effective and efficient operation of the warehouse to facilitate the movement of product to the customer. General areas of responsibility include general administration, safety, budget, facilities and equipment, quality control, and security. Essential Job Functions Manages customer order fulfillment standards and maintains on-time delivery. Works closely with the Plant Manager in determining inventory levels and delivery schedules. Assigns appropriate personnel for deliveries to maximize customer service and maintain high quality standards. Defines the operational flow, facility layout, space, concept of operations and improvements in productivity, accuracy, capacity and throughput. Develops strategic plans for warehouse safety and control of damage. Manages and performs the analysis, design and implementation of processes to improve warehouse operations. Operates with a high sense of urgency and personal initiative, while maintaining good coordination and communication. Responsible for fleet maintenance and appearance.   Position Requirements Qualifications High school Diploma or equivalent 3-5 years of warehouse or distribution and materials management preferred Inventory management, operations management and budgeting preferred.
