Dr. Layth Saraf is seeking a Full-Time Office Manager.
The Office Manager is responsible for the results of the day to day operations of the Dental Practice, creating a positive experience for the patients and staff. The Office Manager provides and implements direction of job responsibilities, and daily assessment of key business indicators. The ideal candidate for this position is an individual who is task oriented, organized and is a “roll-up- your sleeves”, hands on leader of the practice.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
CUSTOMER SERVICE
- Ensuring all patient communication is answered and replied to a timely manner
- Creating a superb patient experience in the office
- Answering and resolving account balance and insurance issues
- Delicately handle all patient behavior issues and complaints
PAYROLL AND SCHEDULING
- Requiring all staff members record hours worked in a timely and accurate manner
- Respond to all time off and missed punch requests
- Schedule appropriate staffing to handle the patient needs
- Submit payroll on time to the payroll company
FINANCIAL & INSURANCE CLAIMS
- Evaluate and report daily on the office financial standing
- Ensure office collections remain at more than 98%
- Present accurate estimates to patients before treatment is performed using hand estimation of insurance limitations and clauses
- Use solid financial arrangement techniques to help patients overcome barriers to affording treatment
HUMAN RESOURCES
- Interviewing and making evidence-based recommendations to the practice owners
- Maintaining a cohesive, efficient and productive dental team
- Be the liaison between associate doctors and the practice owners
- Train and mentor staff to grow with the company
- Inform the owners of any upcoming corrective action with the team and properly document all performance discussions with team members
REGULATORY
- Schedule mandated OSHA and HIPAA training
- Ensure the OSHA and related manuals are kept up to date with staffing and office changes
- Follow up with team members to comply with all documentation of OSHA required practices is up to date
- Maintain documentation of all license and certificates for clinical staff members
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years dental office experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Outstanding professionalism, high moral standards, and a self-motivated work ethic
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with your co-workers and patients
- Driven personality to want to strive to be the best in your profession and provide the best care for our patients.
Compensation & Benefits:
- $52,000 base salary plus bonus
