POSITION SUMMARY: The Director of Practice Integrations will implement integration plans and monitor the execution of key milestones for acquired practices within a defined region and/or model of practice.

 
Position Requirements

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive Integrations
    • Collaborate among cross-functional teams to orchestrate impactful integration planning and execution.
    • Execute the integration strategy and operationalize that strategy throughout the integration lifecycle.
    • Coordinate with the Business Development and Operations teams.
    • Continuously improve integration capabilities by identifying and developing process improvements, best practices, and tools to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the team and improve the quality of integration efforts.
    • Manage the integration plan to keep milestones on track and address or escalate issues and risks.
    • Monitor status of multiple integrations simultaneously.
  • Monitor Post-Integration Performance
    • Collaborate with Vice-President of Surgical to conduct post-integration performance assessments.
    • Support strategic development initiatives.
    • Identify key talent from the acquired entity’s employee base.
  • Partner on Due Diligence
    • Support the due diligence research and analysis and obtain sufficient understanding of the practice to collaborate on the integration plan.
    • Assess growth opportunities and risks with each target.

    • Guide and evaluate the work of other employees, including peers, to ensure a healthy working environment.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related degree preferred.
  • Previous Optometry/Ophthalmology experience preferred.
  • Extensive education and experience in general business and organizational operations required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT (per ADA guidelines):

  • Physical Activity: Talking, Hearing, Repetitive motion.
  • Physical Requirements: Sedentary work. Involves sitting most of the time.
  • The worker is required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned.
