Description

Location: Frederick, MD

We are currently seeking rising undergraduate juniors or seniors, or master-level students working towards a degree in engineering for a 10-12 week internship during the summer of 2023.

Objectives/Goals of the Position:

Individual will assist site energy program lead on sustainability projects implementation as part of AstraZeneca's ambition carbon zero program.

Primary Duties:

Individual will support site energy program lead, plant engineers, and cross-functional teams on execution of sustainability projects, generate reports, and research new technologies applicable to pharmaceutical industry.

 
Position Requirements
  • Rising undergraduate juniors or seniors, or master-level students working towards a degree in engineering.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical systems.
  • Ability to read and redline P&ID drawings.
  • Ability to perform engineering calculations.
  • Minimum grade point average of 3.0
