For more information please visit www.astrazeneca.com .   Description Location: Frederick, MD We are seeking rising undergraduate sophomores, juniors, or senior students, or graduate level master or PhD students working towards a science related degree for a 10-12 week internship during the summer of 2023. Objectives/Goals of the Position: Develop and implement automation work protocols for sample preparation in the analytical sciences laboratory. Primary Duties: Determine analytical methodologies for automation protocol development in collaboration with Quality Control (QC) colleagues. Perform the laboratory testing and protocol development to facilitate the transition of a method from manual preparation to an automated solution. Perform a comparability/validation activity on the automated protocol so that it can be implemented for routine use in the analytical laboratory.     Position Requirements Position Requirements: Rising undergraduate sophomores, juniors, or senior level students, or graduate level master or PhD students working towards a science-related degree. Basic lab bench, computer, and documentation skills required. Experience with laboratory automation desired, but not required.
