General Description
This position requires someone who can support the company's sales goals through professional sales techniques and customer service. Business Development professionals maintain quality relations with existing accounts as well as provide sales and marketing coverage. This person understands and monitors competitive pricing strategies in their market.
Skills, Duties, and Responsibilities
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively pursue prospective clients and negotiate deals.
Identify expansion opportunities with existing clients.
Leverage relationships in the market to drive revenue opportunities.
Create and deliver presentations of service offerings to customers.
Work closely with our operations team to satisfy customer requirements, retain customers, and meet profit goals.
Network through attendance at professional organization meetings.
Travels daily throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective clients to order to solicit sales.
Achieves designated goals for generating new revenue opportunities.
Understands and monitors competitive offerings, strengths, and pricing strategies.
Updates activity daily in Zoho.
Regularly meets with sales team to review sales activities.
Performs other related duties at the direction of the VP of Sales.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is a largely sedentary role with prolonged sitting in car. The ability to lift files, stand, bend, stoop, and walk is required. Requires ability to use a keyboard, monitor, and phone.
Position Requirements
EXPERIENCE
B2B Sales Experience selling a wide variety of products and services to Owners, CEO's, Facility Managers, etc.
High School Diploma or Equivalent, Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Valid Driver's License, as this position requires travel
