Air Technician (H2S Safety Supervisor)

Responsibilities
- Communicate with client representative on dayto-day operations
- Provide safety support to client representative including any reasonable request outside normal duties
- Maintain vehicles, shacks, and work areas in a clean, tidy, and professional condition
- Provide complete and accurate handover information to relieving Air Technician
- Maintain a mature and professional relationship with all personnel in the work area including coworkers, supervisors, and mangers
- Assist managers in providing training to less experiences coworkers
- Ensure training competency goals are met as laid out in "Training and Competencies"
- Participate and cooperate with HSE Integrated management in the development, implementation and continuous improvement of all policies, procedures, and programs
- Ensure that all pertinent paperwork is completed accurately, neatly and in a timely manner.
- Understand the functions and maintenance of the equipment
- Report and communicate regularly to Central Dispatch on the following critical changes necessary that may directly affect dispatch
- Maintain a daily journal of all activities directly related to the job
- Maintain a light duty driver's log
- Report all deficiencies to senior staff and/or direct supervisor
Qualifications
- Experience working on an industrial job site
- H2S Alive
- Non GDL Class 5 (or equivalent) driver’s License; Class 4 if working in BC for forestry work
- Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
- Standard First Aid
- CSTS - Considered an Asset
- Confined Space Entry
- Fall Protection
