Description

Data analysts will develop analysis and reporting capabilities. They will also monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements. Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports. This position will acquire data from EHR data sources and maintain executive reports and data systems. Identify, analyze, and interpret trends in relation to key performance indicators and A/R benchmarks. This position will also work with billing and executive management to prioritize business and information needs along with locate and define new process improvement opportunities.

Essential Functions: In addition to working as prescribed in our Performance Factors specific responsibilities of this role include:

  • Proven working experience with revenue cycle reporting and A/R analysis
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Excel and Ad Hoc reporting systems
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Adept at queries, report writing/building, and presenting findings

Minimum Requirements:

Education/Experience/Certification Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
  • Must be detail oriented and able to follow through on issues to resolution
  • Must be able to act both independently and as a team member
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Occasional Travel - 25% or less

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in a data analyst or reporting and analysis role
  • 1 to 2 years of experience with the Microsoft Power BI platform
  • 1 to 2 years of experience with Excel VBA Macro Development
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in SQL report writing
