Ignite 2.0 Reentry Case Manager

This position managing, and overseeing the daily activities of the Ignite 2.0 Reentry Program and is
responsible for producing the outcomes of the grant. Will work with collaborative grant partners and
Goodwill staff, enabling the program to provide holistic services to the justice system-involved
individuals aged 18 to 24. In addition, this position will act as one of the liaisons with Goodwill
Industries International, develop community partners, identify resources and gaps, track and report
program and financial data to ensure program goals are met and exceed established expectations.

 
Position Requirements

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Implements all aspects of case management and career navigation as outlined in Goodwill’s
Opportunity Accelerator Framework.
2. Recruit program participants meeting the criteria outlined in the grant contract- individuals
between 18 and 24 with justice system involvement.
3. Manages a caseload of participants and works proactively with individuals served.
4. Facilitate skills assessment, testing, and groups
5. In conjunction with participant, conduct a comprehensive intake of their interests, skills,
strengths, and support needs
6. Develop an Individual Case Plan with monthly benchmarks
7. Evaluates emergency needs and coordinates services with community providers to assist
participant stabilization and educational success.
8. Maintain communication with participants on a weekly basis
9. Encourages participant attendance at groups, workshops and appointments.
10. Facilitate the process for learning, i.e. industry recognized certificate programs, adult basic
education, higher education, etc.
11. Advocate for participant as need in employment and education
12. Facilitate other community-based services for the participant, as needed
13. Network and develop relationship with organizations that provide complementary services for
formerly incarcerated people.
14. Provide or refer to counseling, legal services and financial counseling as needed.
15. Facilitates group workshop and trainings.

16. Administers criminogenic assessments and reviews barriers. Develops and implements plan of
supports to reduce risk of recidivism.
17. Completes intakes, case notes, satisfaction evaluations and required documentation that
meets both grant and CARF standard.
18. Provide world-class customer service to all customers (internal and external).
19. Maintain confidentiality with information such as case notes and client information.
20. Conducts self as a good role model by following Goodwill organizational policies and
procedures; maintains a neat, professional appearance.
21. Establishes and maintains positive relationships with other community agencies to assure
consumers are effectively served and demonstrated community needs are met.
22. Outreaches to community businesses to employ graduates of the program.
23. Consistently arrives at work on time and notifies supervisor of absence or tardiness in
advance.
24. Participates with Mission Services team to implement the Opportunity Accelerator Framework
within all Mission Services.
25. Works with Program Manager and other department staff to identify service needs and
solutions, and supports staff.
26. Responsible for working cooperatively with all Goodwill staff to ensure the success of all
Goodwill functions and operations; safeguards company property (including donated goods)
and employees; reports any incident of accident, theft, fraud, waste, or unauthorized
possession of company property to the VP of Mission Services within 24 hours of the incident.
27. Participates as a fully involved Mission Services team member, maintaining a positive and
effective cooperative working relationship with all Mission Services staff.
28. Contributes to the implementation the department's vision.
29. Attends and participates in staff and collaborative partner meetings, training classes (on and
off-site) at partnering locations, case management meetings, and other meetings as requested
or required; updates curriculum and program calendar as requested.
30. Attends all training sessions and obtains minimum required professional development training
hours annually as required by Goodwill.
31. Performs other duties as assigned that would lead to the successful operation of program,
department, team, and mission.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and/or Experience: Requires Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
in Rehabilitation Counseling, Social Work, Counseling, Human Services, Criminal Justice, or a related
field. Three or more years in case management and experience with young adults and reentry
preferred.
