Description

The Hospice and Home Health Director of Clinical Services is responsible for oversight, evaluation, and coordination of clinical operations within the Great Lakes Division. Responsible for hiring, orientation, supervision, and mentoring of Regional Hospice Consultants, with clinical oversight of over 40 home care and hospice offices in 6 states (MI, IN, IA, IL, MN, WI). Functions as a clinical liaison among operations, and other Divisional support staff to coordinate efforts towards compliance with standards of clinical practice that meets/exceeds Federal and/or State requirements, CHAP, and the Quality Improvement Process. Functions as the clinical resource for the Divisional Team. Is an active member of the Clinical Oversight Committee. Coordinates the Standards of Practice and Service Delivery with other HCR-ManorCare businesses and related companies within the Division. Identifies and communicates clinical risk factors to the Divisional General Manager and VP of Clinical Services. Coordinates Intensive Intervention Strategies, clinical program development and implementation within the Division.

Educational Requirements Education: BSN required. MSN preferred.  
Position Requirements

Experience: Ten years experience as a RN with specific Director of Nursing and LTC consultant experience required. Travel: More than 75% of the time.
