DXP/HSE is looking for a dynamic trainer who will be responsible for the delivery of approved courses to our current and new employees!
Some of the responsibilities of this position are (but not limited):
- Preparation and delivery of course content, that includes practical scenarios and document control as found and/or presented in;
- The Instructor course certification process (TTT)
- HSE Integrated and 3rd party training policy and administrative manuals
- Flexibility to travel to other HSE stations and/or client sites to deliver courses when needed.
- Provide scheduled written feedback on course content/delivery and methods to improve the overall participant experience
- Completion and submission of course paperwork per company and/or program provider guidelines
- Strong focus on customer service as it relates to the participant experience before, during and upon completion of the course
- Perform scheduled inventory of supplies and/or assets associated with the Training Department
- Assist with general cleaning duties and replenishing of supplies for classroom.
- Perform all other tasks assigned by the direct Supervisor
Required Certification/Qualifications:
- Energy Safety Canada certification is an asset
- H2S Alive
- Standard 1st - Aid / CPR
- Successful completion of the HSE Train the Trainer upon hire
- Proficient with MS Office applications and ability to operate and maintain classroom assets (ex. audio visual equipment)
- Demonstrates attention to details with focus on overall implementation and follow-through of assigned tasks
- Excellent written, verbal, organization and presentation skills.
- Demonstrate professionalism while representing HSE Integrated (attire, language, conduct, attitude and behavior)
- Minimum three (3) years of previous industry related experience and/or in a related adult learning field
- Pre-existing certifications to instruct courses (ex. H2S Alive) must be valid at time of application this includes course audits, suspension status with provider(s). Copies of original tickets will be required.
