Annual Salary:$34,611.20plus $2.50 shift differential for evenings, overnights, and weekends

The Community Services Associate II/ Direct Support Professional is responsible for providing training and support to individuals that require total care. The Community Services Associate II will work in a group home environment and will be responsible for the well-being of individuals with complex physical and medical care needs. This position will assist the individual in performing basic daily care needs by assisting the individuals with transferring by use of a hoyer lift, bathing, and meal preparation to include special diets, dressing, and feeding. The CSA II will be responsible for giving medications and interacting with medical professionals as well as ensuring the health and safety of individuals at all times.

Requirements:
One year of direct care experience working with adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, mental illness or experience working in an Intermediate Care Facility, CNA a plus.
Valid Driver's License.A Department of Motor Vehicle driving record current within the last 60 days will be required.
As a condition of employment with Hampton Newport News CSB, you are required to provide proof that you are fully vaccinated for COVID 19 or fit within an exemption under the law.
