The Regional Manager is responsible for accomplishing all Company shipping, receiving, and inventory needs on a daily basis. They oversee a collection of other distribution center processes and functions, and act as a liaison between their regionalized distribution centers and the Director of Logistics & Facilities.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

  1. Under direction of the Director of Logistics & Facilities, the Regional Manager is responsible for operating their DC and DC staff efficiently and effectively on a day-to-day basis, while also overseeing processes and functions of other DC locations in their region.
  2. Successfully train and develop current and new staff members to ensure successful execution of daily distribution center responsibilities and service to patients.
  3. Successfully oversee the management and ordering of inventory on a daily/weekly basis.
  4. Manage and update MAX levels for inventory purposes on a weekly basis.
  5. Review all inventory related spreadsheets daily to ensure proper stock in each DC, and to determine when to adjust inventory levels.
  6. Oversee the management and completion of daily cycle counts of applicable inventory.
  7. Oversee the preparation of all items to be shipped on a daily basis.
  8. Oversee receipt of all items shipped to the Company on a daily basis. Inspect and report any damage immediately to the Director of Logistics & Facilities.
  9. Assist with design, development, and implementation of systems capable of evaluation efficiencies across the department on a regularly occurring basis to ensure uniformity and efficiency across the entire network.
  10. Work closely with other Operations Team leadership to ensure all shipping or product related issues are communicated effectively across the appropriate channels.
  11. Work with the Director of Logistics & Facilities in creation, development, and execution of new procedures to improve distribution operations.
  12. Ensure proper rotation of product each time an item is received and conduct weekly checks to ensure no expired product is stocked in the DC.
  13. Regular travel to all regional Prism facilities to ensure each facility is meeting the expectations and requirements of the company.
  14. Evaluate, document, and rectify all safety hazards and security concerns at all regional distribution center locations.
  15. Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding employment, safety and compliance and report any concerns of non-compliance in any area to your manager immediately.
  16. Represent Prism within local organizations and the community.
  17. Perform other duties as requested by the Director of Logistics & Facilities.
 
Position Requirements

Education/Experience/Knowledge Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED; one or more years of experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Good organizational skills
  • Responsible and cooperative attitude.
  • Neat and clean personal appearance.
  • Work requires continual attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 1-10 lbs. frequently.
  • Ability to lift 10 or more lbs. occasionally.
  • Frequent sitting at a desk, standing and using a computer keyboard, and walking to complete various duties.
  • Occasional bending, squatting, stooping, and reaching.

Travel Requirements:

Percentage of travel expected to be 50% or less on an annual basis
