Description

Position Summary:

As a Bell Attendant at Edgewood Tahoe, you greet and welcome all guest to our luxury hotel and resort along with assisting guests with their luggage on arrival and departure. You are also responsible to collect and distribute any deliveries. The most important characteristic of our team is that we love inspiring lasting memories for our guests. Essential Functions:

  • Ensure that all guests have a comfortable stay at the lodge.
  • Establish a good relationship with all guests.
  • Upon arrival of guests, welcomes them (By name) and assists them with any luggage requests,
  • Ensure delivery of guest luggage in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Make sure all Dry Cleaning goes out on time, and when it returns deliver to guest in a timely manner.
  • Assist guests with luggage from their vehicle to the front desk, introduce guest by name to Hotel Agent
  • Escort guests around the great room, then to guest room, placing luggage in room assigned by front desk.
  • Deliver packages and flowers to guest's rooms and other offices.
  • Ensure the efficient delivery and collection of group luggage.
  • Assist departing guest’s luggage from the room to the lobby, then into a car or taxi after confirming with the guest. (Using guest name, and offer a sincere farewell, offer any directions)
  • Respond to guest requests and questions providing a knowledgeable, efficient and helpful information service.
  • To provide an efficient luggage storage, delivery and collection service.
  • Follow all Forbes Service standards each shift (guest name, welcoming, knowledge of property)

Position Requirements

Qualifications / Special Skills:

  • Previous experience in hospitality would be preferred and commitment to delivering a high level of guest service.
  • The ideal candidate is a highly motivated professional.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • This position will require availability to work varied shifts including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
