Performs all procedures related to the decontamination, processing, storage and transportation of instruments and supplies. Coordinates and obtains necessary instrumentation and supplies from external vendors. Collaborates and communicates effectively with other health team members to provide quality and timely care. Supports the work area by assisting in scheduling tasks and procedures for on-call surgery cases. Assists in patient transportation and OR room turn-over to facilitate patient flow. Supports the Professional Practice and Caring Model Principles practiced at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital.   Position Requirements High School diploma or equivalent. Required to obtain IAHCSMM Certification within 12 months of employment. Previous experience preferred.
