Share Email Opening Apply Now Title Administrative Assistant  Description Position Summary: Assist the Practice Group Coordinator by performing various clerical duties assigned to the position in accordance with established Brown & Riding values, goals, and procedures. Essential Functions: General clerical duties including photocopying, faxing, and mailing Managing any memberships/subscriptions such as RiskMeter and ISO PPC Handling loft scheduling as well as making hotel reservations if needed Preparing and modifying documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos, and emails Sending calendar invites, agendas and reminders to employees for different Monthly Group calls Scheduling quarterly/semi-annual trainings for the Accounting department Planning and organizing different party events such as Cinco De Mayo, Holiday party etc. Helping HR with ordering anniversary gifts Coordinating and organizing meetings, appointments and travel arrangements for managers or supervisors Tracking expenses made by monitoring various inboxes Adding announcements made by our marketing team to our software Other Responsibilities: Perform other work-related duties as assigned. Work closely with Marketing, HR, Service Center and the Practice Group Coordinator in identifying other projects where skills, experience and knowledge can be utilized.   Position Requirements Education, Experience and Skills Required: 1-3 years office experience, preferred Strong preference for insurance, commercial property/casualty & surplus line experience Exceptional organization, follow-up, communication, and interpersonal skills Exhibit good listening skills and a willingness to help and support others Advanced/Strong skill level in various PC software (especially Microsoft Excel) Ability to be adaptable and flexible in work schedule as needed Utilizes reasoning ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions   Category Clerical   Location Dallas Office   About the Organization Brown & Riding is a wholesale insurance brokerage committed to our Mission, Culture, and Values.
