Share Email Opening Title Clinic Team Leader  Category Healthcare Management   Description POSITION SUMMARY: The Team Leader supports the primary functions within the clinic area of the practice. This position requires a strong leader with the ability to lead, develop, and motivate staff to ensure optimal efficiency and deliver the highest quality of patient care.   Position Requirements ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Demonstrate and uphold the mission statement, values and core programs of Midwest Eye Consultants Develop and guide staff to ensure consistency in performance and improve clinic efficiencies Develop and monitor the coordination of patient scheduling and patient flow throughout the office Maintain inventory of all medications and supplies Assist Office Manager in evaluating staff performance and clinical assessments in order to provide additional training as necessary Develop staff in their essential responsibilities, as necessary Provide a safe, clean, organized and inviting environment for both patients and staff Perform other duties and assume various responsibilities as determined by the office manager and doctor(s) EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: High school graduate, or equivalent Previous experience in fields of ophthalmology or optometry is preferred Previous experience in leadership/management is preferred COMPETENCIES: Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills Decisive leadership with above average judgment Detail oriented, self-starter, with strong organizational skills Able to effectively sustain multiple, simultaneous tasks Ability to lead, motivate, and promote a team environment Ability to build and maintain good rapport with the doctors, staff and patients, and handle situations with confidence, tact and resourcefulness Proactive, adaptable, with the ability to work under pressure to accomplish projects and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Shift Days   Pay Rate $14.70-$19.85   Position Status Full Time with full benefits   Manages Others yes   Travel Required Occasional travel to support nearby offices may be requested.   Position Clinic Team Leader   Exempt/Non-Exempt Non-Exempt   Location Cataract and Laser Institute-Indianapolis   About the Organization The vision of the doctors and staff of Midwest Eye Consultants is to provide our patients with excellence in eye health care.
