Manager – Revenue Services 

Description

PURPOSE

This position is responsible for the company's order-to-cash cycle, through which all business activities are financed.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Accounts Receivable:
    • Ensure efficient billing and collection of all cash due throughout our various business operations.
    • Continuously improve billing and collecting processes to minimize errors, rework, and exceptions.
    • Reduce Days Sales Outstanding.
    • Research and Test Errors in the EDI test system to ensure billing accuracy
  • Control Costs:
    • Establish, manage, and achieve the prevailing Operating Plan cost targets in the Revenue Accounting functional areas; and maximize cash collections to minimize interest costs, and minimize the company's lumper expense through process controls and customer reimbursement.
  • Succession Planning:
    • Develop and mentor capable and effective team members for all leadership positions and critical individual contributor positions in your areas of responsibility.
 
Position Requirements

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in finance or accounting
  • 7 years of relevant work experience

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of TMW & Microsoft Dynamics GP or similar operating systems
  • Knowledge of bankruptcy laws, collection rules and regulations
  • Knowledge of our customer base and business operations
  • Intermediate to advance skills with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Ability to work extended hours when necessary
  • Experience in high transaction environment, the ability to work with large data sets
  • Ability to deliver exceptional service through positive engagement and patience.
  • Ability to work in a team environment to continuously improve results.
  • Ability to promote a culture of trust and safety.

Working conditions

This position will be required to work in an office environment with moderate noise levels, and, with or without reasonable accommodation is required to:

  • Remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.
  • Frequently operate a computer for extended periods of time and regularly operate other office productivity machines.
  • Occasionally ascend/descend stairs and move up to 20 pounds of office objects.
  • Frequently communicate with peers, supervisors, third parties, and other employees to exchange accurate information and answer questions.
  • Occasionally attend meetings in buildings outside corporate office and at off-site locations with various internal conditions, and requiring travel in various external conditions.
  • Travel domestically as necessary.
