Description

ProMedica Senior Care, formerly HCR ManorCare, provides a range of services, including skilled nursing care, assisted living, post-acute medical and rehabilitation care, hospice care, home health care and rehabilitation therapy.

ProMedica Hospice is searching for a full-time Bereavement Coordinator to assist with supporting the bereavement program.

The Bereavement Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing and supervising the hospice bereavement program. They provide bereavement support through grief support, memorial services, family assessment and conference. Also, responsible for consultation to interdisciplinary team, client and family in issues related to grief and loss.

Educational Requirements Bachelor's degree in counseling, theology or related field required; Master's degree in the area of mental health preferred.  
Position Requirements

Experience in caregiver support and counseling regarding issues of loss, grief, death and dying.
Experience in developing and conducting programs of support.
One year experience in home health care or hospice preferred.
Proficient computer skills preferred.
