Then we would love you on our team!   Responsibilities   Precisely communicate needed repairs to Manager and Director Always maintain a professional appearance Maintain shop cleanliness Assist in maintaining equipment and tools to Thanksgiving Points standards Complete any other assigned tasks delegated by Manager or Director Willing to work at a steady pace. Must have a positive attitude and rise to challenging situations. Perform preventative maintenance on small motor vehicles and large vehicles. Inspect and service fluids, filters, lights, wipers, tires, and other minor services Test, diagnose, and repair engines, brakes, suspensions, tires, and drivetrains Test, diagnose, and repair ObdII computer and electrical systems Clean and maintain vehicles Maintain adequate inventory of vehicle parts and supplies Address vehicle and small motor emergencies Other duties as assigned by management Support and uphold Thanksgiving Point’s Mission, Values and Policies Qualifications Capable of performing lubrications, oil changes, maintenance, tire services and inspections Must be able to operate equipment such as overhead and floor mounted oil and grease guns, transmission machine, air conditioner service machine, radiator service machine, hand tools and basic shop equipment Must be able to lift and move work-related items up to 50 pounds Must be able to push, pull, lift, and bend at the knees and waist, twist body at the waist, raise and hold arms overhead, and turn head-neck-shoulders as needed Completion of an Automotive Technology course is a plus Strong problem-solving skills Ability to communicate well with others Ability to service multiple makes and models, Ford is a must. ASE certification is preferred. Willing to work at a steady pace. Must have a positive attitude and rise to challenging situations. Possess a valid driver's license w/good driving record Must be able to work in all kinds of weather conditions Leadership skills and the ability to communicate effectively and in a professional manner. 3-5 years of vehicle and small motors maintenance experience along with 1-2 years of supervisory experience.
